Features

01

AI auto-field placement

Upload and relax. The layout is handled.

DocAISign reads your document's text and places signature and date boxes on lines like “Signature: ____”, “By: ____” or a line with “Signature” underneath. You stay in control: every box can be moved or removed.

02

Tamper-evident audit record

Proof of who signed, and when.

Every signed document comes with an audit record: SHA-256 fingerprints of the original and signed PDF, each step's exact UTC time and IP address, and browser details. Any change to the signed file changes its fingerprint.

03

Frictionless for your signer

Signed in seconds, not days.

Send a secure link. Your client reviews the document, draws or types a signature on a phone or computer, and submits. No login, no app, nothing to pay.

04

Private by default

Your contracts belong to you.

Files are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM), used only to run the signing, and deleted after the retention period on the privacy page. Signing links are random and can be revoked at any time.

Questions

Are signatures made with DocAISign legally binding?

Electronic signatures are accepted for most everyday business documents under the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA, Canada's electronic commerce laws and the EU eIDAS regulation (as simple electronic signatures). DocAISign records consent to sign electronically and each step of the signing, and seals the signed file with a SHA-256 fingerprint. It does not provide certificate-based digital signatures or identity verification. For important documents, check the rules where you are.

Do my clients need an account to sign?

No. They get an email with a secure link, open it in any browser, agree to sign electronically, and sign the boxes you marked. Nothing to install and nothing to pay.

How does the automatic field placement work?

When you open a new document, DocAISign reads the text in the PDF, in your browser, and looks for signature lines: labels such as “Signature”, “Signed by”, “Sign here” or “By:” next to or under a blank line, and “Date” lines next to them. It places boxes there for you to check. Scanned pages have no text to read, so place those boxes yourself. Tap “Find signature lines” to run it again.

Which documents should I not use it for?

Wills, powers of attorney and other documents the law requires in a particular form. For real estate and court documents, check the local rules first.

What happens to a Word file?

It is converted to PDF, and you review it before placing any signature boxes. Nothing is sent until you confirm.
